KATIE BRISBOURNE

Katie has performed on NYE in Belfast’s Ulster Hall/Met Arena as a covering artist for the Austrian euro hit single LoveLine by Unique 2. She has been accompanied on stage by Northern Ireland DJ Robbie Nelson and chart topping producer Paul Masterson. A sell out celebrating the hit single Reunion.

 

Katie has been a vocalist for experimental projects, achieving a deal with Power Promotions, the top tastemaker DJS worldwide and featured on Dance Nation In The Mix TV music channel.

 

She has worked with various producers, Jordan Milnes from Silver Studios & Warner Chappell Music, Ian Lodge from Dominatorz and Promoter Tony Byrne from Single Minded Promotions.

 

Katie made the final 25 girls of X factor boot camp, 2010 with judges Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Cheryl Cole & Natalie Imbruglia.

 

She has performed on the ‘Let Me Entertain You’ TV show presented by Brian Conley, ‘an unexpected song choice, strong, powerful and soulful vocals for such a young girl.’

 

Katie entered ‘Search for a Star’ competition in Blackpool and made it through to the final. Judged by Gary Bushel, Bobby Ball and Casey Lee Jolleys. She came 2nd in the Hungry Horse Chain H Factor competition in London adjudicated by Will Mellor ‘incredible emotion, got tingles and goosebumps’ and ‘sang with such

maturity’.

She has performed at Theatre Severn in Shropshire as Ariel in the stage production of The Tempest.

 

She has 4 years teaching experience at Stage 2 Performing Arts Academy as an assistant teacher/vocal coach. Katie is well educated in the ‘Alexander Technique’ vocal warm ups and cooling down exercises, posture correction, performance skills, building a repertoire, diet & health advice and given confidence and selfesteem training.

 

Studied at Shrewsbury College of Arts and Technology, achieved BTEC Distinction in Performing Arts and gained Music GCSE.
